About Us
Our Mission
The Indianapolis Symphonic Band represents and serves the community by providing year-round, free of charge, accessible band concerts in a variety of venues--indoors and out, to audiences of all ages--throughout the Central Indiana area. It's our mission to promote musical and artistic growth and support continued musical education to our members and our audiences.
The Indianapolis Symphonic Band (ISB) is a 65-piece concert band that performs a variety of concert band music from marches to musicals, from overtures to popular sounds.
The Indianapolis Symphonic Band performs over 10+ concerts a year in outdoor venues and at the Warren Performing Arts Center. This year, 2023, the band begins its 68th year of music.
